Objectives
The objective of the game is to try to free the spogglings from the bubbles. To do this you must get 3 (or more) spogglings of the same color together (horizontal or vertical). The catch is that you can only swap the positions of spogglings which are located next to each other and the move must result in 3 spogglings of the same color together (see below).
The number of moves available is shown under the game board (it says "MOVES"), if you're unable to see any moves you may press the panic button but beware you'll lose your entire power meter (that's the meter to the left of the game board). The power meter is filled every time you free some spogglings, the more you free the more you get but all the time you're not freeing spogglings you lose power. Why do you need power? The more power, the higher you'll score when freeing spogglings. Free more spogglings than 3 at a time and you will get rewarded with more points too.

How do I move the spogglings? Either click and drag the spoggling you want to move in the direction of your choice or just click and release and the spoggling will move in the "best" direction. The meter to the right side of the game board shows how long time it's left of the game.

At any time chat messages may be written by typing on the keyboard, the chat messages are sent to the other players by pressing the return key.

Every Popout game is 5, 10 or 20 minutes (only the private games). The player with the highest score at the end of the game is the winner. If you are a registered member the highest score you have received will be stored after a game is over (only 5 and 10 minutes games). Depending on several factors you will also receive (or lose) ranking points after a game. Beware, if you log out of a game already running you will lose the same amount of ranking points as losing the game. However if you enter a game that is nearly finished and don't wish to lose ranking you have a short time to get out of the room without losing ranking.

Game Settings

There is a tab called settings in the lobby that allows you to turn the in-game music on/off as well as the sound effects. You can also chose to turn off the animations in the game (might improve speed on slower computers).
